Audio
Audio enhances a web site by providing an additional channel for the delivery of your message. It may suit the philosophy of your web site to have a downloadable Chairmans address or some background sound for particular pages.
There is always an overhead (a delay in loading the the page) whenever audio is added. The file formats are also important as they are not all supported across browsers and platforms. Nevertheless, adding sound to a web page is relatively straightforward.
